Answers use saved observations from sampled images. Timestamps are approximate; brief events can be missed. Public demo questions are limited.
You rarely start with no information. A rough time and the right camera can make a whole day feel much smaller.
When was the cash count off? When did the customer say they visited? When did you notice the empty shelf? Use that clue to choose a camera.
Export 1–3 hours around that time rather than a whole day. A smaller file uses fewer analysis hours from your plan. The per-file limit remains 5 hours in length and 20 GB.
Follow the cited timestamps and review nearby minutes. Use visible clothing or an entrance scene as another clue. Analyze other camera exports separately and compare the scenes yourself.
Your original video file stays on your computer. The desktop app sends sampled images and text to our service for AI analysis and answers. An internet connection is required.
Use FootageFind to review specific incidents and claims. Follow the local rules that apply to recording, signage, customer and staff privacy, and sharing footage. Ask your adviser about requirements in your region.
FootageFind works from sampled images, not every frame. That matters when a store incident happens in seconds.
You can. FootageFind helps you start with likely moments instead of replaying the whole day while you are running the store. You still review the original footage yourself.
Motion search finds movement. FootageFind lets you describe the visible activity you want to find in words. Use it alongside your recorder, with exported video files.
Start with the export guide above or contact us through Help. Choose your camera and time range, save a video file, then select it in the desktop app.
The original file stays on your computer. Sampled images and text are sent to our service for AI analysis; this requires internet access.
Use the results to find a scene and review it yourself. Keep the original export untouched and ask police, your insurer or your legal adviser what they need. Do not treat a transcript or a description as proof of theft or fault.
