FOR THE MOMENTS AROUND YOUR HOME

A package vanished. Find the moment in minutes.

Choose a security video from your computer, ask what happened, and jump to the cited moment. Your original video stays on your computer.

Use compatible exported video from your existing cameras. No separate upload step. Up to 5 hours in length and 20 GB per file.

How do I save footage from my camera? ↓

The recording is there. The moment is buried.

You know roughly when the package arrived, or when you last saw the car undamaged. Finding the relevant scene should not mean replaying the whole afternoon. FootageFind helps you search compatible recordings you already have, without replacing your cameras.

Choose a file. Ask a question. Check the moment.

01 /

Download the app

Sign up free and download FootageFind for Mac or Windows. Choose an analysis plan inside the app.

02 /

Choose a saved recording

Export the relevant camera and time window, then select the file on your computer. One file at a time, up to 5 hours in length and 20 GB.

03 /

Ask and review the moment

Ask about a delivery or someone near the gate. Open the cited timestamp, review the surrounding footage, and download the activity transcript as a PDF.

Start with a recording from your camera app or recorder.

Choose the camera, date and time window in your camera app or DVR/NVR playback screen. Look for Download, Export, Save or Backup. Choose MP4 when offered. Move the saved video from your phone or USB drive to your computer, then select it in FootageFind.

Export options depend on the camera model, storage and service plan. These manufacturer links are starting points, not promises of direct integration. Proprietary or encrypted camera files may need conversion to a compatible video copy; keep the original untouched.

Questions about what happened around your home.

These are example questions, not guarantees about what a recording will show. Answers describe visible activity; they cannot identify a person, establish intent or prove wrongdoing.

SituationYou could ask…
Missing package“When did a delivery person leave a package at the door, and who approached it afterward?”
Car damage“When did a vehicle stop near the parked car?”
Gate, fence or mailbox damage“Describe anyone near the front gate.”
Possible break-in attempt“When did anyone approach the back door?”
Contractor or neighbor dispute“When did the work crew arrive and leave?”
A clothing detail you remember“Who was wearing an orange jacket?”

Answers use saved observations from sampled images. Timestamps are approximate; brief events can be missed. Public demo questions are limited.

Know roughly when? Start there.

If the delivery was around 2 p.m., choose the camera facing the door and export a smaller window around that time instead of the whole day. Ask what is visible, then review the cited moment and nearby minutes.

Shorter exports use fewer analysis hours from a monthly plan. The one-recording purchase has a fixed price; a shorter file does not reduce it. Files are selected individually, not split automatically.

Your original video stays on your computer.

The desktop app sends sampled images and text to our service for AI analysis and answers. An internet connection is required; this is not offline analysis.

Use it for reviewing specific incidents on your own property. Follow local recording and privacy rules, particularly for audio and indoor footage. Avoid posting clips of suspected people publicly.

Find where to look. Review what really happened.

Before you review your recording.

Does it work with my existing cameras?

It works with compatible exported video files, not live camera connections. Your camera must let you save a recording; availability depends on its model, storage and plan. No new camera hardware is required.

My camera app already has AI. Why use this?

If your camera app already finds what you need, use it. FootageFind complements your recorder when you want to ask questions about exported, older or locally saved recordings.

Can it identify who took a package?

It can describe visible clothing and actions and point to moments worth reviewing. It cannot establish identity or prove theft. Review the original footage yourself.

Is the app free?

Signing up, downloading the app and exploring this saved demo are free. Analyzing your own recording requires a plan: one recording up to 5 hours in length is $49.99, or choose a monthly analysis-hour plan.

What if my recording is too large?

Each file can be up to 5 hours in length and 20 GB. Export a smaller time window yourself if needed. Analyze separate files individually; your plan determines the available analysis hours.

Can I download the transcript?

Yes. Download the timestamped activity transcript as a PDF. Keep it alongside the original recording as a review aid, rather than treating the AI notes as proof of what happened.
